On each turn, build your enchanted garden by placing a terrain tile, resolve any completed Mushroom Rings before then move your Gnome to take a special action. Harvest mushrooms, reserve valuable rings, collect flowers, activate signpost bonuses or visit the market to trade your mushroom harvest for precious Treasure tokens.
 
The challenge lies in balancing your garden’s growth with the actions available to you. Completing mushroom rings can provide immediate rewards, while carefully arranging your tiles creates new opportunities for future turns. The game ends when a player completes eight Flower tokens, places eight Mushroom Ring markers or the shared tile supply runs out. Final scoring combines Treasures, Flowers as well as Mushroom Rings before the player with the highest total earns the title of guardian of Gnome Hollow.
