Every Viking must connect to an existing Viking or Longship, so expanding your influence requires careful planning. Collect the resources you need, then use them to capture buildings or complete Construction Sites before another player takes the opportunity.
 
Your personal board becomes a growing Viking settlement as you arrange the tiles collected from the common territory. Thoughtful placement can create valuable combinations, unlock points plus help you complete your longer-term objectives. Longships provide additional resources, while Trophy tiles offer one-time scoring opportunities based on the layout of your settlement.
