The Architects of Amystis is a strategic game of tile placement which uses mechanisms such as work placement and "Tic Tac Toe". On your turn you will need to select a tile from the shared market board, to select a tile to add to your design you will mark the stack you took the tile from with your architect token. When you place the acquired tile onto your board it can be placed anywhere you wish even covering up a previously claimed tile. There are four different colours for the building tiles and there are different types of building in the game. Each type of building has a special rule associated with them that can be changed between games depending if you use the A or B side of the building cards. The aim in the game is to assemble pattern of buildings in certain colour orders to earn the Kings favour and score bonus points. You can also unlock special end game bonuses if you can get three of your architects in a row on the market board. You must balance both forms of scoring to become victorious.
