Vantage is an open-world, co-operative adventure game which offers an entire planet for you to explore. With players communicating to one another as they are scattered across the world the more you will understand about this planet. The game has around eight hundred locations that are all interconnected across four hundred card and there are over nine hundred discoverable cards in the game, making this world you sandbox to play in.
 
Each game of Vantage begins on an intergalactic ship heading towards an uncharted planet. Though as you approach you end up crash landing splitting you up from your companions from then on you have complete freedom as to how you want to proceed, you can explore new locations, discover items and interact with the planet to learn more about your environment. The game is played from a first person point of view with you being the only one to be able to view your location, you can describe the location to the other players but only you are allowed to see it as it is your current location. As you explore the world you will uncover your mission which is what you need to complete Vantage. There is also the option to add destiny victories or epic victories to up the stakes and complexity.
 
Vantage is not a campaign game as each game is its own experience though you will carry your knowledge of the planet with you wherever you go in future games.
