Your adventure begins aboard an intergalactic ship heading towards an unknown planet. When disaster strikes, your crew is scattered across the surface. From that moment, each player explores from a first-person perspective, with only the character at a location able to see its surroundings. Describe what you discover to your teammates, exchange information then work together despite being separated by vast distances.
 
The planet is packed with nearly 800 interconnected locations across 400 cards, creating a huge open-world environment to explore. More than 900 discoverable cards can reveal new items, encounters, secrets as well as opportunities, ensuring every expedition can uncover something unexpected.
 
There is no fixed route through the adventure. Search unfamiliar regions, interact with the alien world, experiment with different actions or follow clues that gradually reveal your mission. You can even raise the stakes with Destiny victories or pursue an Epic victory by completing both objectives.
 
Every game of Vantage is a standalone adventure rather than part of a traditional campaign. You do not carry characters or progress between sessions but the knowledge you gain about the planet stays with you, making future expeditions richer as you learn how this strange world works.
