This process continues until every card is face up.
 
Now comes the satisfying scoring twist. Whenever matching numbers sit directly next to each other, that group is removed from your grid. Only the cards left behind count towards your score, so creating connected sets is the key to making unwanted numbers disappear.
 
The challenge is deciding which card to take while considering how it will affect your future grid. A useful number for your current layout could create problems later, while a seemingly awkward card may help you build a valuable matching cluster.
