Deepen your journey through the mysterious world of Alula with Faraway: Beyond the Veil, an expansion for the acclaimed Faraway board game that introduces ancient Spirits, shared objectives and exciting new scoring opportunities. As your understanding of this strange land grows, you begin to sense the presence of powerful Spirits emerging from their millennia-long slumber. Reconnect with these supernatural guardians to unlock new rewards while discovering fresh ways to shape your strategy.

The Faraway: Beyond the Veil expansion introduces 13 Spirit cards featuring common objectives that challenge players to adapt their plans throughout the game. Race to fulfil each objective before your rivals or expand upon requirements you've already met to claim a Spirit's favour. Timing is crucial, as completing an objective first can provide valuable opportunities to strengthen your Regions.

When you meet a Spirit card's requirements, tuck it beneath the last Region card you played to enhance that Region with additional resources plus new scoring potential. This clever addition builds on Faraway's distinctive card-play system, creating fresh tactical decisions as you balance your exploration, regional development and race to secure valuable rewards.

Whether you're a dedicated Faraway player looking to expand your collection or a fan of strategic card-driven board games seeking new challenges, Beyond the Veil adds another layer of depth to every expedition. Compete for shared objectives, watch your opponents' progress and discover how the Spirits can transform your path to victory.
