Across six years, you’ll alternate between fruitful seasons with plentiful resources plus dry seasons where careful planning becomes essential. Draft multi-use cards, gather ingredients, manage your supplies and then transform them into bread or beer before selling your produce for valuable coins. You can also improve your village facilities to make future production more efficient, giving your decisions lasting consequences throughout the game.
 
The clever twist comes when scoring arrives. You cannot simply focus on whichever product earns the most money. Your final score is determined by the lower of your beer or bread earnings, forcing you to maintain a careful balance between both industries. Push too hard in one direction and your strongest production may not save you from a disappointing final tally.
