At the start of the game, each player selects three Protocols to test, creating a unique matchup from a pool of concepts such as Chaos, Clarity, Corruption, Courage, Fear, Ice, Luck, Mirror, Peace, Smoke, Time and War. Every Protocol offers a different path towards victory, encouraging experimentation with new combinations.
 
Play cards into your Protocol command lines to build towards their thresholds, using strategic effects to control the flow of the battle. Disrupt opposing Protocols, strengthen your own systems then find the right moment to trigger a Compile. Once all three of your selected Protocols have been Compiled, you have achieved complete understanding before your rival.
 
The challenge comes from balancing your offensive plans with the need to protect your own progress. Every card can alter the state of the match, creating tense tactical decisions as both players race towards their own objective.
 
Compile: Main 2 adds 12 new Protocols to the Compile system, letting you play them on their own or mix them with the Protocols from Main 1 for even greater variety. New combinations create fresh tactical puzzles, ensuring each duel can feel dramatically different from the last.
