Rule a kingdom from your seat with Far, a tiny travel board game that packs clever tile placement, tactical planning and a wonderfully unusual scoring system into a compact package. Every card you add expands the shared kingdom, but where you sit at the table can completely change which lands become valuable to you.
 
On each turn, choose one of two available terrain cards to add to the kingdom or place your King or Queen to secure a powerful scoring advantage. Every new card must connect to an existing terrain type without overlapping another card, gradually creating a shared landscape filled with forests, fields, mountains as well as other terrain.
 
The twist comes at scoring. You only gain points from land with at least one unobstructed edge facing your side of the table, meaning your position influences what can become your territory. Your King plus Queen can score land from anywhere in the kingdom, while any connected area larger than five cards becomes too vast to score. Clever expansion is essential because bigger is not always better.
 
Once the final card has been placed, players calculate their largest qualifying area across each of the four land types. The player with the highest total becomes ruler of the kingdom.
