Build your species by playing Trait cards that give your Doomlings unique abilities, bonuses or ways to score points. Some Traits increase your resilience or adaptability, while others let you manipulate the game in surprising ways. Nothing stays safe for long. Age cards introduce changing rules throughout the game, while hidden Catastrophes can suddenly disrupt everyone's plans. Doomlings also has a clever Gene Pool mechanic, which determines your hand size throughout the game. Your Gene Pool can grow or shrink through Traits or Catastrophes, giving you another tactical decision to consider as you build your species.
