Survive the changing landscape of prehistoric Europe in Doggerland, a prehistoric strategy board game set around 15,000 BCE when the fertile land connecting Great Britain to mainland Europe still stood above the North Sea. Lead your clan through an unforgiving world of dwindling resources, seasonal change and migration as you build a legacy that can survive for centuries.

Develop your settlement by increasing your population, crafting essential tools, painting cave murals and raising monumental megaliths to honour the gods. Explore the surrounding wilderness to discover valuable resources, adapting your plans to whatever the land provides. The modular territory ensures each game creates a different landscape, making every clan’s journey feel distinct.

Each round begins with action programming, letting you plan your clan’s activities before carrying them out. Available resources, resource scarcity as well as the choices made by rival clans can all influence which actions are possible, so a strong plan may need to change quickly when conditions shift.

The seasons bring another challenge as resources become harder to find. When your local area can no longer sustain your growing population, migration becomes essential. Move carefully, establish new settlements as well as keep your clan productive while balancing immediate survival against long-term development.

Every clan also has a Leader who provides valuable bonuses plus a Shaman capable of powerful actions through knowledge of ancient magic. Use their abilities wisely to strengthen your strategy while working towards your ultimate goal: leaving the most impressive trace of your civilisation.
After 6 to 8 seasons, the prehistoric journey comes to an end. Score your achievements to determine which clan has built the strongest legacy.

With modular exploration, action programming, resource management and population growth, Doggerland is an engaging strategy board game for players who enjoy deep planning with an evolving landscape.
