The peaceful landscapes of Dorfromantik are back, but this time there is a friendly rivalry brewing across the countryside. Dorfromantik: The Duel is a competitive tile placement strategy game for two players or two teams, challenging you to create the most beautiful landscape while completing villager requests plus new scoring objectives.
 
Both sides build their own countryside using the familiar hexagonal landscape tiles, placing each newly revealed tile to connect rivers, forests, fields and villages. Every placement can improve your region, yet also influence whether you can satisfy the demands of the villagers. The aim is not simply to create a beautiful world, but to make smarter decisions than your opponents.
 
Two new assignment types add fresh tactical challenges. Double Assignments give you two objectives to manage at once, while All-Around Assignments encourage careful planning across your entire landscape. These new challenges can also be combined with Dorfromantik: The Board Game, giving fans of the original even more ways to expand their countryside.
 
Two additional modules introduce further variety plus interaction, while four new special tiles can also be added to the original cooperative game. With a second copy of this game, up to four players can compete across two teams. Dorfromantik: The Duel blends relaxing landscape building with competitive strategy, making it an appealing family board game for those who enjoy tile laying, puzzle solving and tactical planning.
