Big Top Boardgame Mini Convention

April marks the beginning of our thrilling new rebranded monthly board game gatherings, the Big Top Boardgame Mini Convention. These amazing events will continue to offer the fantastic gaming experience everyone knows and loves, with some added extras to keep you entertained all day long.

With a host of games to play led by our expert demo team, you can easily learn any of the games on display as well as receive expert advice on the games on sale at the pop-up shop. With the new addition of the "meet the publisher" element of these events, you will be able to get a look under the hood of some of the great games coming out from independent publishers in the UK. Are you ready to roll some dice and let the fun commence!

For this month's Big Top Boardgame Mini Convention we are pleased to announce that Atikin Games will be joining us with the designer of their newest title Malus Hortus. With this game only appearing a week before on kickstarter you will be some of the few to get a close up experience of the game and how it plays.

Dive into the enchanting yet treacherous world of Malus Hortus, a cooperative game where players, as nymphs, must escape a beautiful garden turned sinister by night. Work together to navigate shifting terrains, avoid evil flowers, and save magical critters. Encounter various creatures through unique night and critter cards, but beware—some may not have your best interests at heart. Will your team find freedom before it’s too late? Join the adventure this April!

Group Game

Also on the day of the event at 6pm we will be doing a group game of Insider that you can join in with to find out how it plays. This game facilitates 4 to 10 players so if you would like to join in let one of the team know on arrival and they will reserve you a spot. This fantastic session will be ran by our demonstrator Emily and will take around 30 minutes to play.
